Mount Yale, is a 14,196-foot peak in Colorado’s San Isabel National Forest. Yale is a Class Two fourteener with views of the Collegiate Peaks Wilderness and the Arkansas River Valley, making it an essential destination for adventurers.

The area surrounding Mount Yale is filled with hiking trails and rocky ridge lines, while Mount Princeton Hot Springs will provide us with a peaceful retreat between hikes with geothermal pools surrounded by views.

The collegiate peaks blend the challenge of an iconic summit with opportunities for deep rest and rejuvenation, offering a perfect balance of adventure and presence for connecting with Colorado's wild beauty.

Our sunrise hike up Mount Yale offers the thrill of summiting one of Colorado’s iconic "14ers," challenging you to push your limits while connecting with the energy of nature.

We’ll have full weekend access to unwind in the Mount Princeton hot springs and evenings are dedicated to restorative yin yoga, to release tension and ground into the day.

Traveling solo? No problem. Opt for a shared room, and we’ll match you with a roommate. Each spacious room comes with separate beds and private bathrooms for your comfort.

  • We will enjoy a mix of locally-sourced vibrant & nourishing vegetarian and meat options. Special dietary restrictions can be accommodated.

  • In late June, Mount Yale experiences pleasant weather - sunshine and a few afternoon rains. Temperatures average around 76°F/43°F.

    On the summit (over 14,000 feet), temperatures will be cooler, so layering is key for our hiking.

    Afternoon showers are possible.

  • Not at all. While THE BALANCE retreats are always structured to included breaks for free time to journal, rest, or keep socializing if you choose, nothing is mandatory and you can take time to yourself as you need. This is your time to recharge.

  • A complete travel packet will be sent to you upon registration. This will include information on traveling to the retreat center and a packing list specific to your retreat.
